These have the pen tip and handle permanently attached. They are more stable and provide the best heat distribution. Just plug it into the cord and you're ready to go. These pens are all hand made and the tips are all highly polished. Nibsburner pens will fit directly on Colwood and Optima wood burning systems without an adaptor.

I carry the most popular fixed-tip pen styles but if there is one you want and I don't have it please let me know and I'll get it for you.

#NBF1B - Heavy Point Skew

The largest of my chisel tips and has a heavy point. It is a great choice for & fine detailing, quill lines and & long straight lines on primary feathers, birds, gourds, leather and general pyrography where you need a broader stroke

#NBF1D - 1/2 Small Skew

Half small point for burning short, straight lines or gentle curving lines on feather barbs of small birds. Popular with pyrographers for cutting and fine detail.

#NBF3 - Spade

The spade tip is designed with a cutting edge on both sides. It combines some of the qualities of the chisel tip and the round tip. Handy for gourders when fading away from corners. Instrumental for feather and hair detailing.

#NBF4 - Writing Tip

This is Nibsburner's writing tip. It works like a hot ball point pen, burns a fine line for outlining areas around eyes or bills. Good choice for fur and hair on animal carvings. This tip can be pushed or pulled, making it ideal for doing circles and signatures on finished pieces.

#NBF4M - Micro Writing Tip

This is Nibsburner's writing tip. It works like a hot ball point pen, burns a finer line than the #4. The micro writing tip is used for extremely fine writing, raising a duck bill's nostrils, indenting around a duck bill nail, carving wrinkles, on birds and fish, modeling around eyes, modeling bird feet, finishing the center shaft of feathers, and signing. It is also great for pointillism.

Exclusive to us! This is my bent spear shader (like the Razertip HD5MP and the Colwood E45) that she uses for everything! It is the most versatile shader you will find because it can get into the tightest spots that most round and square shaders can't. Good all purpose shader that can get into tight spots that you can't do with round or square shaders. The edges on these are NOT sharp so they will not catch the wood while you are trying to shade. It is by far the most versatile tip you will ever use because you can do so much more than just shading with it. Experiment and have fun and learn all that you can do with it. As an example, use the side edge for fur and hair, use the tip for fine detail work and calligraphy.

#NBF5BSS - Bent Spear Shader, Small

This is my small modified bent spear shader (Razertip HD5MSP) that will fit into the tightest spots! It is the most versatile shader you will find. Good all purpose shader that can get into tight spots that you can't do with round or square shaders. The edges on these are NOT sharp so they will not catch the wood while you are trying to shade.

This is perfect for fine detail work and a favorite with gourd artists. It is designed with a cutting edge on both sides for exceptionally fine detail on miniatures, pyrography or gourds. The #5 can handle tight areas and other hard-to-reach places.

#NBF5NS - Small Spear

This small spear is a smaller version of the #5 with a thinner gauge wire and sharper edges. It is perfect for fine detail work and a favorite with gourd artists. It is a perfect for getting in to tight spaces and working on small pieces, like tagua nuts and fine detail work on gourds. It is similar to the Razertip F5S and is one of my best sellers. The edges on these are sharpened to burn a nice crisp line.

#NBF5NSS - Super Small Spear

This is a smaller, narrower version of the small spear listed above and a favorite with gourd artists. The edges on these are sharpened to burn a nice crisp line. This will work on the very finest detail and for miniatures.

#NBF6 - Round Shader

This tip is wide, flat and smooth. It is used for areas of even tone over a large area, to darken flat areas or to clean up along the edges of primary and tail feathers. The #6 burns with the flat side of the tip and is possible to under cut adding dimension to your work. Ideal for pyrography

#NBFKN1 - Large Knife

The largest of Nibsburner's knife tips makes it possible to burn sharp curved lines without plowing  like a chisel tip. The KN1 cuts as it burns, leaving a sharp and uniform fast line. Rounded heel makes this popular with pyrographers and gourders for feathers and hair.

#NBFKN2 - Medium Knife

My medium rounded heel knife tip does a similar job as my KN1 with a smaller tip.
