I carry the finest mediums, finishes and sealers including Jo Sonja. Our products will meet the need of most crafters including gourd artists, pyrographers, woodworkers and others. Alan and I both use these products on our art and woodworking projects and now we are making them available to you. I've been asked by customers to carry them by those who can't find them locally and so here they are!

I also test out new products recommended by customers and fellow artists and if it's something I like and will use myself I will add it to the products I sell. One of those new products is the Americana Finish/Sealer which was recommended by Hellen Martin in Texas. If there is something you use and would like to recommend it please let me know.

	Jo Sonja flow medium Reduces Jo Sonja's Artists' Colours to produce paint with excellent flow control capabilities. Suitable for long strokes, liner work, calligraphy, fine detail and air brushing. Add where thinner paint consistency is required. (Water has a dilutive effect on the pigment and the adhesive qualities of acrylics and should not be used in large amounts). FINISHES, SEALERS & miscellaneous These are some of the finest finishes that will work on so many different materials. These are a favorite of us and many gourd artists, pyrographers, wood workers AND other crafters.
	mod podge - satin 8 oz I have been doing some decoupage on the inside of my gourds as something different and boy is it fun! Give your gourd bowls some personality with decoupage. Decoupage is the art of cutting out and adhering paper (you can also use fabric) images to any surface creating intricate works of art. The simple cut and paste methods of the past are much more sophisticated today. With true decoupage work it is difficult to tell what is paper and what is actual painting. There has been a resurgence of interest in Decoupage throughout the world in the last few decades, with serious enthusiasts committed to producing work of a very high standard. Objects are decorated with images, perhaps from the work of a particular era. The design is executed by cutting out the images, adding further images from varied resources, painting an appropriate background, gluing the images into place, and covering the object with a depth of varnish which allows the composition to glow through. Varnishing, sanding and polishing are generally recognized as the most labor intensive areas connected with this art form. Making the transition from a craft to a fine art is simply a matter of artistic placement of the decoupage materials and the building up of layers varnish. One of a kind expressions of art are easy to accomplish. Create with your own art, pictures or use existing prints or photographs. Making decoupaged images using digital imaging from the computer is a new exciting way of making beautiful and creative works of art. Mod Podge makes the process easy. The adhesive sealer creates a tight bond that dries quickly and is easy to use. It dries clear and smooth, leaving no brush marks. Use on: Canvas, Glass Plates, Gourds, Wood, Paper, Metal, Tin, Glass, Plastic, Furniture, Lampshades, Bowls, Trays, Any Surface Directions for Use: Cover the front of the paper or fabric with Mod Podge adhesive. Let dry. Cut or tear image and position it on surface of object. Brush Decoupage onto back of image and to surface of object. Lay paper down on object to be decoupaged. Gently push out extra Mod Podge adhesive and bubbles using brush, fingers or brayer. Start from middle and push outward to edge. The lighter the paper, the easier it will tear.
