When I first started working on
gourds back in early 1999 I tried using the craft paints Al was using on his
woodcarvings. I was not happy with the quality or coverage so I
experimented with a variety of acrylic paints until someone introduced me to Jo
Sonja. I started using Jo Sonja paints and mediums exclusively and I found
the quality and coverage to be superior to every other brand of acrylic paint.
I even started using them on Al's woodcarvings and found they provided much
richer colors and better coverage.
I no longer have the room to carry
the individual size tube paints but I continue to carry a variety of Jo Sonja
