Our Gallery

In these galleries you will find Nedra's pyrographic art, gourds, pencil drawings, paintings and chip carving and Alan's wonderful wood carvings, scroll saw clocks and crosses. All our work is hand made and not mass produced.

Nedra started collecting and saving photos from her travels with the family from the time she was a kid and when she began painting she had lots of reference photos at her disposal. She saved every one of those photos in a box and continued adding to them over the years...of course the photos are now in many boxes! As an adult she moved around the country many times as part of her job with the VA and the photos went with her on every move adding photos from all of her travels to the collection. Nedra also had the opportunity to travel outside the country many times to Europe, Asia and Mexico and again took more photos so her collection kept growing.

When she met Alan, she discovered that Alan loved photography and traveling just as much as she did and he even had a "fancy-schmancy" camera with a variety of very long and very short lenses so the collection of photos is forever growing now and even better than the older ones. And now they have joined the digital world making it easier to store all those new photos.

They use their own photos or photos they receive from clients for commissions as references for much of the artwork and carvings seen in the galleries. Some of the native american artwork was done using old reference photos that were not copyrighted.
